Live Sports Ticker

The Spafax Live Sports Ticker is an innovative inflight entertainment feature that delivers real-time sports updates to passengers during their flight. Launched in June 2024, this low-bandwidth system provides live scores and updates without significant data usage — ensuring passengers stay connected to their favorite sports events at 35,000 feet.

Our Role: Full-Cycle Development, From Concept to Deployment

Spafax envisioned a bold new way to engage passengers with real-time content — and we handled the full technical build to make that vision a reality.

Our responsibilities included:

• System architecture & backend engineering
• Integration within IFE environments
• Scalability & configurability for airline needs
• Testing, deployment & optimization

In short: we built the ticker from the ground up. Today, it’s live in the skies, keeping passengers in the loop with seamless, real-time updates.
